Summary
  • Firmware update for NIC 52:
    • PNS 2V2.1.0.6 - for PI test tool April 2017

  • netXConfigTool update:
    • For sercos in In standalone use case , NIC52 has to control the 2 Byte control information. Configurable by netXConfigTool.for sercos the Control-Bytes will be handled by the communication stack. This functionality is configurable by netXConfigTool
Note
  • Since 3 years NIC 52-RE / -REFO has been introduced as compatible replacement for  NIC 50-RE / -REFO.
    Any new functionality will only be added to NIC 52-RE / -REFO.
    For new projects NIC 52-RE / REFO shall be used.
  • NIC 50-RE / -REFO cannot be certified according to PROFINET V2.3 and EtherNetIP CT14.
  • No new features or updates will be added to NIC 50-RE / -REFO anymore.

Note: We reserve the right to make technical changes without prior notice.
