Installation

Older Versions of the netX Configuration Tool need to be deinstalleduninstalled, before you can install the newest version.

Set Firmware directory

When installing the Software, the installer asks for a Firmware folder.

Do not select the Firmware folder from the already excisting existing path. This will cause issues during installation.

Please remove the Firmware folder from the excisting existing path. Otherwise, issues can be caused by excisting existing files that can not cannot be overwritten.

The Firmwarefolder Create a new Firmware directory. The Firmware directory needs to have the following structure:

FirmwareFor netIC:   Firmware\netIC

For cifX:     Firmware\cifX

The folder needs to be filled with the Firmware(s) you need want to use. Otherwise, the netX Configuration Tool will not be installed.

During installation click on 'Set Firmware folder' and then select the newly created folder 'Firmware' to install the the netX Configuration Tool.
