This information belongs to the SONNETTECH Sonnet ECHO Express EXPRESS III Extender Box extender box, use in our development environment.
The behaviour of other extender boxes are unknown.

Our tests have shown that the Sonnet Thunderbolt 3 Extender Box (Sonnet Echo Express SE III) is currently not usable under Windows 11.
This is because of Windows 11 currently does not support multiple-slot Thunderbolt system expensions.
Using it under Windows 11 either not external hardware is shown or leads to system crashes.
Microsoft has announced such a support for Windows 11 23H1.There is also a note from the Extender Box manufacturer about this:
