Q: What is the difference between recomendet and not recomendet?

A: Both components are verfied the same way and work with netX. Recommended components mean, we have this component also in house in use
and if it is discontinued, we will search for a replacement. In best case there is a successor available we could check. For not recomended components we won't search for successors on our own.

Hilscher recommends severals hardware components for a custom design. Dependend on the network controller (netX) the components are verified with a specific 2nd stage loader, rcX / eCOS and Bootwizard version.

By selecting the "Issue" of a released component there are specific values given to parameterize the component.

These parameters are evaluated and tested on a netX / netRAPID evaluation board which did not pass any EMC test.

Please contact Hilscher Sales to verify a specific component that is not listed under the following pages.
