The device can not be found in the device assignment / it can not be connected to the device

Trouble shooting

USB Driver

Install latest Version

Please install the latest driver version:

Sycon.net

Install the newest version

Please install the lastest version of Sycon.net:

https://kb.hilscher.com/display/SYCON

Driver selection

In the navigation area → Settings → Drivers, please select the netX Driver.

Connection

Please do not use USB hubs. Rather use a direct connection.
Also use an unshielded USB cable, the one included in the delivery would be best.

Restart ODMV3

ODMV3 is an online data manager used by Sycon.net.

If unexpected problems arise, a reboot can often help.
The ODMV3 can be found as shown, bottom right in the picture. By right-clicking you can then perform various actions.

Misc

switch off Endpoint Security

uninstall the Hilscher USB driver and Sycon.net

clean the registry with the free tool "CCleaner" (https://www.ccleaner.com)

install the latest driver version as well as the latest version of Sycon.net

If this also does not lead to a solution, please test a PC that is not subject to IT influences.
