Procedure for Performing the Repair Function of the Device Library

Question: An error occurs when attempting to execute the Repair function of the Device Library. How can this be resolved?

Answer: This error occurs when the ODMV3 and ODMTray processes are still running. Please follow the steps below to successfully execute the Repair function:

 

Procedure

  1. Open the Taskbar:

    • Locate the ODMTray/ODMV3 icon in the Windows taskbar.

    • The icon is represented as a small PC card.

  2. Stop the processes:

    • Right-click on the PC card icon.

    • From the context menu, select Service → Stop.

      • Note: If the Stop option is unavailable, the ODMV3 process is already stopped.

  3. Close ODMTray:

    • Right-click the icon again.

    • Select the Close option.

    • Ensure the icon is removed from the Windows system tray and that ODMTray is fully closed.

  4. Re-run the Repair function:

    • You can now execute the Repair function of the Device Library without encountering the error.
