Where to find the latest Version

The latest Version of the netX Configuration tool, is always available on our Knowledge Base:

Installation

Older Versions of the netX Configuration Tool need to be uninstalled, before you can install the newest version.

Set Firmware directory

When installing the Software, the installer asks for a Firmware folder.

If the netX Configuration Tool has been installed before, a fitting folder could be available in the following path:

C:\Programme (x86)\Hilscher GmbH\netX Configuration Tool V1.0900

Do not select the Firmware folder from the already existing path. This will cause issues during installation.

Please remove the Firmware folder from the existing path. Otherwise, issues can be caused by existing files that cannot be overwritten.

Create a new Firmware directory. The Firmware directory needs to have the following structure:

For netIC:   Firmware\netIC

For cifX:     Firmware\cifX

The folder needs to be filled with the Firmware(s) you want to use. Otherwise, the netX Configuration Tool will not be installed.

During installation click on 'Set Firmware folder' and then select the newly created folder 'Firmware' to install the the netX Configuration Tool.
