Using the Ethernet Configuration Tool <= V1.0900.7.1725, a scan for devices could in some cases cause a crash of the "Ethernet Device Configuration Tool".

Solution

Update

Perform an Update to the latest Version of the Ethernet Device Configuration Tool:

Workaround

If an Update does not solve the issue or an Update is not possible, please deactivate "Microsoft" components in the DCP configuration as follows:

• Select "Options → DCP configuration...".

• Deactivate the "Microsoft" entries:
