netFIELD Device IO-Link Wireless Master

Releases

Hilscher’s platform for netFIELD Device IO-Link technology connects simple or complex sensors and actors seamlessly to industrial Real-Time Ethernet networks.

The new netFIELD IO-Link Wireless Master is now widening the scope to introduce the innovative IO-Link Wireless communication, which opens up completely new possibilities for machine builders and factory operators to gather sensor data and monitor their plants.

The master converts PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and EtherCAT to IO-Link Wireless and is able to support a total of up to 16 IO-Link Wireless Devices simultaneously. Hilscher's IO-Link wireless solution also has an integrated OPC UA server for identification and diagnostics in accordance with the official OPC UA specifications for IO-Link companion devices.

The netFIELD IO-Link Wireless Class A Bridge serves as the corresponding counterpart to the master and is directly connected to the sensors and actors. The small coupling device only needs a 24V power connection to provide fast and reliable wireless communication.

The netFIELD Devices are IP67-rated, preventing the ingress of dust and water. A complex installation within control cabinets is not necessary.
