My Sercos LED is not green

Why is the S LED not green? When does the S LED change to green?
If the S LED is alternating flashing green and dark:
Just one wire is connected to the device. The slave is in Loopback. Connect the second wire from master to the slave to make a ring topology.
If the S LED is red:
A C1D Diagnosis (Error) has occured. A C1D Diagnosis can have different sources and many things could have caused this. The most common source of an error is switching from Communication (Phase CP4) back to NRT or CP0. This can also occure if both network wire between master and slave get removed. If you want to discover the source of the error different IDNs contain informations.
- The IDN S-0-0390 (Diagnostic Number) contains the first error with the highest priority. This error code must be decoded, follow the link of the bottom of the page to sercos specification.
- The IDN S-0-0095 (Diagnostic Message) contains a human readable text corresponding IDN S-0-0390.
- The IDN S-0-1303.0.10 (Diagnostic trace buffer no1) contains all diagnosis occured in the device in a chronological order. This error codes must be decoded, follow the link of the bottom of the page to sercos specification.
If the source of the C1D Diagnosis is gone, a error can be reset through IDN S-0-0099 (Reset class 1 diagnostic). This IDN is a procedure command an must first written with 0x3 and in the next step to 0. Engineering tools like Indraworks have a seperate button to reset the C1D diagnosis of a device. If the diagnosis didn't disappear read IDN S-0-0390 and S-0-0095 to get the cause of the diagnosis. Remove the reason of the diagnosis and execute the procedure command S-0-0099 again.
