How can I determine the revision of a netX 90 chip or a NHXH 90-JTAG evaluation board?

netx 90 Chip

The netX 90 chip revision can be distinguished by its datecode. The datecode is printed on the chip package, below the lettering "netX 90". Please refer to the figure 1 below.
The Datecode of final silicon chips consists of 4 digits. The first 2 digits specify the production year, the last 2 digits the calendar week. Example Datecode 1910: Produced in CW 10 of year 2019.

Three netX 90 chip revisions exist:

NXHX 90-JTAG evaluation board

Two different NXHX 90-JTAG boards exist. Board revision 1 and revisoion 2 (Figure 2) contain the netX 90 MPW chip and are not recommended for development.

Board revision 3 and revision 4 have a different PCB layout  (Figure 1) and contain netX 90 Rev. 0 and netX 90 Rev. 1 chips respectively.
The board revision number is printed on the white label with the QR code, please refer to Figure 1 and 2.
