Zum Thema Factory Reset SUP-30504:

Die Binaries (also das was in der Fertigung auf das Flash geladen wird), befinden sich aktuell bei Stani im Endtest.

Der Kunde kann das aber nicht Problemlos selbst flashen, weil im FDL z.B. eine bestimmte MAC-Adresse abliegt, die sonst überschrieben werden könnte.

Wir brauchen also die Seriennummer des netRAPID (Barcode) der hier genutzt wird. Bestenfalls einfach alle vorhandenen Barcodes (FDL Config. muss zur SN passen).

Anhand dieser Informationen könnte man ein passendes Image generieren und der Kunde kann dieses dann über JTAG mit netX Studio selbst flashen.

bin-Files zum Flashen befinden sich im File "EVA.zip" und dürfen an den Kunden gesendet werden.

Der Kunde benötigt den Flasher aus netX Studio:

Request for fitting image

To be able to reset the netFIELD Evaluation Board, please always contact the Hilscher support team first.

Since there is a specific MAC-Address on the FDL of the device, this could be overwritten if flashed by yourself.


Therefore the support team needs the specific Serialnumber of the netRAPID, which is part of the Device.

At best, please provide all available Barcodes on the netFIELD Evaluation board.

Based on this information, it is possible to generate a suitable image, which can be flashed via JTAG with netX Studio.


Flashing an Image

The Flasher is integrated into netX Studio and can be found in the section "Tools → Flasher".

Please select the interface, with which the netFIELD Device can be accessed.

Therefore a JTAG Adapter is needed. Please follow this link, to find a list of supported adapters: JTAG Debug Probes for netX 90

the File "eflash.bin", needs to be flashed into the external flash of the device.

Therefore select Flash Type "Serial Flash (SQI)"

The File "iflash01_offset_0x3000.bin" needs to be flashed to the internal Flash in Area 0 and 1.

Please note that the offset is set to address 0x3000, otherwise the FDL could be overwritten.

The file "iflash2.bin" needs to be flashed to the internal Flash in Area 2 (APP).

Note
Please do not forget to set back the offset to address 0x00.
