When the power button on the gateway's front is pushed the gateway shuts down the operating system and quits all running services securely. Using the power button ensures a safe shutdown of the running system and shall be the preferred method to stop the device's operation before the power is removed for example. A wake up service such as Wake On LAN is not supported in this state. Pressing the button again will initiate the boot sequence. |
