Q

Is visualization on iOS devices with Mobile Safari supported when "users" have been created in atvise and authentication is requested by Safari?

A

Yes it is possible.

Analysis of communication between Mobile Safari under iOS version 9.2 and a netSCADA device has identified a problem that only a fresh started safari explorer app with cleared history and cleared cache will ask for a proper user authenfication login page. This is because netSCADA devices uses the digest authentication method.

If you just refresh the site under the given ip address again in the browser using the refresh logo, Mobile Safari does not ask for a authentication page again and the web sites cannot be displayed any more. The safari app has to be closed in this case and restarted. Only then Safari requests for a new login.

A recommendation is using Firefox browser instead. Firefox login works without any problems.
