Why do I get DRV_DEV_NOT_READY (-11)?

This error is usually thrown if the DPM access to a configured device fails.

This can happen

  • on PCI device when using older drivers on newer mainboard, as newer PCI bridge chips might influence accesses to the device. Use V3.2.10.0 or newer (see  DRVWIN-11 - Getting issue details... STATUS for more information)
  • on ISA cards if you jumpered a different address space than configured in the device manager
  • on ISA cards if the jumpered address space is not free / shared with another device
