Welcome to the official download page for the Hilscher EtherNet/IPTM Tool – a simple yet powerful EtherNet/IPTM Software Scanner application designed for Windows systems.
This software operates using your standard Windows Network Interface Card (NIC) and supports both acyclic (UCMM, CIP Class 3) and cyclic (CIP Class 0/1) client communication.
Developed as a lightweight simulation and testing tool, the application provides straightforward access to EtherNet/IPTM devices built on our netX SoC technology. Whether you're experimenting, testing, or learning, this tool facilitates direct interaction between your PC and target EtherNet/IPTM devices without the need for costly and expensive PLCs.
The tool is intentionally minimalistic and designed to be self-explanatory, requiring only a basic understanding of CIP and IP networking. While no extensive documentation is provided, the intuitive interface encourages hands-on learning and exploration of EtherNet/IPTM and the CIP protocol.
