How are pictures (jpg,png, etc...) embedded in order to save device's web space if those pictures have to be used multiple times?

In the project tree to the left your find the folder "Library/Project/Ressources". Click left and choose the option "Add Resources..." to add any file you want to use later on a display.

From there you can drag and drop your file as often you want to as many displays you want per server. This procedure will  consuming web space multiple times since ativse just places a link to the file.

The pictures shows how ativse inserts the file just as a reference
