Description

The POWERLINK Controlled Node stack has implemented the required state machine and services to build a POWERLINK Controlled Node device. The stack provides services that need to be handled correctly by an application.

Configuration

The stack offers a mailbox interface for configuration. A configuration has to be set using a Set Configuration packet first.

Cyclic data

The stack offers an interface to access the cyclic data. Cyclic data is available in the dual-port memory which can be accessed by a host application.

Object dirctionary

The application can read and write the objects of the dictionary via the mail box interface. The stack notifies the application, if the POWERLINK Managing Node reads or writes an object.

State Machine

The stack reports changes of the state (e. g. pre operational to operational state) to the application.
