What is the roadmap of PROFINET certification testbundle 2018? How about corresponding Hilscher protocol stacks?

PI Roadmap

In 2018 the certification testbundle will be released on 02 May 2018. The ReleaseCandidate of the testbundle will be available for Hilscher on 27 Apr 2018.

Update 08 May 2018 

The 2018 certification testbundle is not yet released. It is expected to be released until 11 May 2018.

Update 14 May 2018 

The 2018 certification testbundle was released 14 May 2018.

Hilscher Roadmap

Due to the public holiday in Germany on 01 May 2018 and a "long weekend" before Hilscher will start to evaluate the RC on 06 May 2018.
Note that we already did some tests with the beta version of the testbundle. However from our experience typically new issues that require clarification will arrise with RC of testbundle.

This page will be updated once clear roadmap of Hilscher is available.

As the testbundle is not yet released as expected the evaluation could not yet started as planned.

Update 14 May 2018 

As the testbundle is now released evaluation will start and results are expected until 25 May 2018. Once results are available this page will be updated accordingly.

PNS v4 roadmap

No compatible hotfix will be made available for PNS V4.3.0.x and older Release branches.

As of 24 Apr 2018 we expect to deliver a compatible hotfix for PNS v4.4.0.x to be available end of May 2018.

Update 20 Jun 2018

Hotfix for PNS v4.4.0.x is expected for July 2018 due to unexpected findings using the new certification tools.

Update 25 Jul 2018 

A reference certification with PNS V4.4.0.4 is in progress. Results will be published when available.

PNS v3 roadmap

No compatible hotfix will be made available for PNS V3.11.0.x and older Release branches.

The upcoming release V3.13.0.0 will compatible. As of 24 Apr 2018 this release is expected to be available end of July 2018.

As of 24 Apr 2018 it is still open if a hotfix will be made available for PNS V3.12.0.x. This depends on the amount of issues found when testing with RC of testbundle. This page will be updated accordingly once decision is made.

Update 20 Jun 2018

Decision: No hotfix based on PNS v3.12.0.x will be generated.

Update 25 Jul 2018 

A reference certification with PNS V3.13.0.0 is in progress. Results will be published when available.

This protocol stack is not yet released because certification and other quality tests are ongoig.
