Attach a controller to the engineering PCs network card. Attention, you need a cross over wire or a switch/hub between controller and engineering PC. Be shure the IP of the engineering PC is located at the same subnet as the controller.
At Indraworks create a new Projekt. Leve the Project settings as suggested by engineering. Add a controller (e.g. MLC L65) to your project.
Leave all settings at the appearing dialog boxes as suggested by engineering. Just at the "Ethernet communication" menu the right IP address must be selected.
In the next Step expand in the "Project Explorer" window the currentley added master.
Open the "Tool" menu and select "Device Database..."
At the appering window click on the button "Add Devices...". Now add the cifX SDDML file delivered with the firmware.
Close the "Device Database" window.
Open at the "Library" view the "Periphery" tab and open "sercos III". Drag and drop the currentley added cifX device to the sercos network on the left side.
Right click on the controller and select "switch online" acknowlede all appering dialog boxes with okay.
A appering "Adjustment of sercos Device Configuration" has to be done. Just change the addres in Project within this menu.
Now "Login" to controller. Acknowledge all appearing dialog boxes with okay.
Now the communication state is P2. Just switch the controller to P4 (CP4).
