Communication Solution DVD 2021-03-2 available

Please note that we have released Communication Solution DVD 2021-03-2 for netX10, netX52, netX51 and netX100 based PC-Cards and Modules.

In this DVD we have added an updated migration guide for the soon to be released comX 52CN-DPS, -DNS, -COS modules.

Important updates

• Introduction of PNS V4.5.x.x firmware as PNS V3.14.x.x replacement
• New comX 52 for PROFIBUS DP Slave, DeviceNet Slave and CANopen Slave as compatible comX 10 replacement.

PNS V3 & EIS V2 phase out

Due to development consolidation and efficiency improvements, we will phase out PROFINET IO-Device generation V3 and EthernetIP Adapter generation V2 by end of 2021.

Means by this date no features will be added anymore and there will be no support of latest test bundles for certification.

Replacement will be PROFINET IO-Device generation V4 and EthernetIP Adapter generation V3, which are available in this package.

We strongly recommend always using the latest firmware versions, to have full feature support and to stay compliant with latest test bundles for certification.

Please make sure to test the new firmware generations in your application, to allow a smooth transition.
