Migration from V5.4 to V5.5

Important:
Migrating from a minor version to a higher minor version (e.g., V5.4 to V5.5) may introduce API changes that need to be considered during the migration process.
To help you address all relevant API changes, migration note documents are provided along with Firmware V5.5. Please take the time to carefully review the following documents:

  • EtherNetIP Core V3 - Migration Notes MG V3.9.0.0 EN.pdf
All changes from V3.8.0.0 to V3.9.0.0 are relevant.

  • EtherNetIP Adapter V5 - Protocol API V5.5.0.0 EN.pdf
All changes from V5.4.0.0 to V5.5.0.0 are relevant.

Note:
Not all entries in the migration notes may be applicable to your specific application, so please review the documents to determine which changes are relevant for your use case.

You can access the firmware, documentation, and migration notes via the download link below.

Note

Starting with firmware version V5.4.0.0, the firmware requires netX 90 with date code 1910 and later.
