Please note that we have released netRAPID DVD 2021-03-1.

In this DVD we have updated all firmware and tools to the latest released version.


Important updates

  • Update to latest released firmware stacks & tools
  • Discontinuation of NRP 10-CCS & NRP 10-DPS
  • Stop support for VARAN client on NRP 52 & NRP 51
  • Phase out of EIS V2 & PNS V3 on NRP 52 & NRP 51


PNS V3 & EIS V2 phase out

Due to development consolidation and efficiency improvements, we will phase out PROFINET IO-Device generation V3 and EthernetIP Adapter generation V2 by end of 2021.

Means by this date no features will be added anymore and there will be no support of latest test bundles for certification.

Replacement will be PROFINET IO-Device generation V4 and EthernetIP Adapter generation V3, which are available in this package.

We strongly recommend always using the latest firmware versions, to have full feature support and to stay compliant with latest test bundles for certification.

Please make sure to test the new firmware generations in your application, to allow a smooth transition.
