Why does my sensorEDGE/sensorEDGE FIELD device, operating in the 192.168.0.x IP subnet, not display any IO-Link web pages?
A
sensorEDGE/sensorEDGE FIELD devices automatically establish an internal network with the IP subnet 192.168.0.x/32.
Connecting such a device to an external network that shares the same IP subnet can result in a routing issue within the device, leading to a failure in internal TCP/IP communication with the IO-Link processor at IP address 192.168.0.2.
To ensure the proper routing of TCP/IP telegrams to the IO-Link processor, configure a route by following these steps:
- Navigate to the "Networking" menu.
- Locate the entry "cifx0" in the "Interfaces" list and click on it."
- Click the "IPv4 address" entry as next
- Finally switch off the "Automatic" selector under "Routes" and add a new routing entry with the plus button as shown below.
