Q

In which order to use SYCON.net and netSCRIPT debugger with a scripting file for downloading?

A

1.) Start with SYCON.net first in order to configure the whole target platform you want to let run a netSCRIPT file on. This typically enables the IO communication to the configured primary/secondary networks connected to the target platform. During this initial configuration and setup there is no need to specify a script file. netSCRIPT interpreter doesn't find a scripting file and suspends itself without taking any influence on the rest of target platforms operations.

2.) Continue then with netSCRIPT debugger to create a new scripting file or to use an existing. Debug the "script under development" until it is free of errors.

3.) Finally specify the final script file in SYCON.net to be loaded during the normal download session when the whole target configuration is loaded to the target platform.
