New PROFINET TestBundle released by PI

PI has officially released a new TestBundle for certification tests on . Testing PROFINET IO Devices with this new TestBundle during official certification tests is possible starting .
As some of the test tools have been available for testing to Hilscher not earliler than we were not yet able to fully check compliance of our IO Device implementation with this new certification test tools.
Our experience of the updates of these tools tells us that there may be some issues with both
- the new certification tools and
- current Hilscher PROFINET IO Device implementations.
Until further notice please ask your PITL to use the official PROFINET TestBundle of October 2015 for certification testing. Using the latest available Hotfixes a certification will be possible.
A new Blog post will be created once deeper testing with the new certification tools has been done by Hilscher and results are available.
