PROFINET IO-Device V5.3.0.0 has been released

A new version of PROFINET IO-Device protocol stack and firmware has been released.

This release fixes some bugs and introduces new features. Details can be found on the corresponding version page PROFINET IO-Device V5.3.0.0.

In addition to maintenance issues worth mentioning are:

• improved safe filesystem (Use Case C)
  • netX90 Usecase C requires Maintenance Firmware V1.3.0.0 or newer
  • netX90 Usecase A is compatible to Maintenance Firmware V1.1.0.x or newer
• improved netload behavior
• Support for PROFIenergy ASE
• Support for AssetManagment
• rework and unified DDP Parameter handling
• add support for some ParameterTypes in SetOemParameter Service
• improved and unified firmware startup in case of errors
• Support for SystemRedundancy
  • a separate PROFINET IO-Device firmware is available that support the features System Redundancy and Dynamic Reconfiguration. To use the firmware requires a separate license agreement
