Introduction
This application note gives an overview of the possible procedure for installation problems with Sycon.net.
Uninstall Sycon.net completely
- Uninstall Sycon.net.
- Please check, if the content of the following folders/files have been deleted:
C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Hilscher\
C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Hilscher GmbH\
C:\Program Files(x86)\Hilscher GmbH\
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menue\Programs\Sycon.net Systemkonfigurator\
C:\ProgramData\Sycon.net\
C:\Windows\Installer\{36D8CB49-17D6-4465-8278-18482181926E}
C:\Windows\Installer\1c08845.msi - Please install the tool "CCleaner and clean the registry of your operating system (2 times).
https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner - Restart your PC
- Install Microsoft® .NET Framework 4 once again (perhaps it has to be uninstalled before).

If it fails again, please send us the generated Log-File for further Analysis.
Reinstall
Please verify you are working with administration rights when installing Sycon.net.
In any case, use the "Right click → Run as administrator" option.

If it does not work, please send us the following:
- MSINFO32 Export of the computer, Creating an MSINFO32 NFO-File [EN]
EventLogs: These can be found in the following folder: %SystemRoot%\System32\Winevt\Logs\
Please copy this folder and then zip it.
